BUSHFIRES
A bushfire is a rapidly spreading fire that burns grass, bush or woodland. Bushfires can range from being small and potentially harmless to being out of control; destroying lives, houses and the environment.
Bushfires predominantly occur in Australia because it is a dry continent with low rainfall, long summers and highly flammable eucalyptus trees.
